It was a long day in 2011 when Joey Logano finished fifth in a NASCAR race at Watkins Glen International, then drove himself directly to Sticky Lips Pit BBQ in Rochester, New York, to film an episode of Man v. Food Nation with Adam Richman. Joey was a great sport, but it was not to be his day. (Still, Sticky Lips BBQ loves Joey!)
Hundreds of people have tried the Atomic Bomb Challenge, which consists of over five pounds of delicious pain and Rochester’s hot meat sauce! In order to win, the challenger must complete his or her meal in under 30 minutes. The winner gets his name out front on the restaurant’s giant marquee and bragging rights. It seems to be a rite of passage for college-aged men in the Rochester area.
